I'm thinking about getting a subscription now, but I'd like so advice on a few things before I make a decision to subscribe. Please read about my concerns and tell me what you think

Payment Plans
I'm not sure what payment plan to choose. Mind you, I'll be paying with my debit card, so I have some concerns. The options that say "bill every x months" make me kinda nervous, does that mean dA will automatically bill me? What if I no longer want my subscription? Is there a way to notify them so they stop billing me for it should I choose to end my subscription?

Journal Skins
I heard the whole CSS thing is sort of a pain in the butt if you want to make a custom CSS for your journal. Would it be better to pick a pre-made skin or ask someone to make one for me? If so, know anyone would be willing to do it for free? I'm a broke college student here.

Newsletters?
Do you have to have a subscription to publish a newsletter?

Other Benefits
What are the best things about being a subscriber? Is it really that much better than being a regular member? Is it worth the cost?

I appreciate any information you'd like to share with me on any of these subjects. Trust me, you'll be helping me a great deal in deciding one way or the other.

*EDIT - So I got back from class about 45mins ago, and I have good news! After beating the scanner and cussing it out, it decided to work! I couldn't believe it. The thing's been acting totally posessed since I got it but for once it did what I asked it! NO FREAKIN WAY. Now I credit some of the cursing (for some reason I have to insult my electronics before they want to work) but I also tried a different program. Instead of using one of the HP programs, I opened up Image Capture, and that did it! YAY. I can scan my pics now and get them colored. I love the irony here, it works AFTER I tell everyone what a horrible mean printer it's been to me. LOL

Just a quick journal to see if anyone might be able to help me. I have an HP Printer/Fax/Scanner that I synced with my Macbook Pro. It prints and copies just fine when I hook it up to the Mac (via USB), but every time I ask it to scan it gets stupid on me. I press the scan button and it starts to go, then it says error. It won't tell me what the problem is though, so I have no idea how to fix it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but that didn't change anything.

Any idea what's going on with the scanner? I'd love some suggestions/advice as to how I fix the problem. I've got at least three sketches I'd like to get scanned so I could COLOR them, but the scanner is being a buttface. Please leave a comment if you have any idea what's going on here.

That's all for now. I actually have Econ Class in about 20 minutes.

Well hulloooooo my lovelies! I'm very bored at the moment so it's journal time

Since I've been down here, it has been ungodly HOT nearly every day. Then we get about a week of cooler weather, then it heats right back up again. Today is one of those particularly cold days. It's 74F! If that wasn't enough, the wind is gusting every few seconds. Even knowing that, I'm sitting outside at a table in the SHADE, and my fingers are nearly frozen so I'm having trouble typing. BRRRRR. :cold:

I've been doing some sketches and they all look awesome. I think I'll be uploading some new stuff very soon so look out for that! Call me butter, cuz I'm on a roll. I know bad joke LOL

Anywho, I'm off to Econ lecture now, then it's home to nap! Yays. I know this journal is silly ramblings but sometimes these things brighten your day neh?
